We have now reached the Fall wedding season and while we are sad to say good-bye to those lazy summer days it is also so very exciting to start thinking of cozy and warm ways to decorate your seasonal wedding.
When one starts to think of October, I am sure many things come to mind: changing leaves, crisp and cooler mornings, hot chocolate, Halloween candy and PUMPKINS! Pumpkins are on everyone’s brain – pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin patches, decorating pumpkins and the list goes on. So why not include these adorable gourds into your wedding ceremony?
There are so many fun and creative ways to include pumpkins into your wedding décor – you can paint them various colors and use them throughout the area, carve any sort of design into them (this would be a very fun craft night!), you can drill holes into them and make trhem centerpiece candles, you can carve larfger holes into them and make them vases for your flowers or you can keep them au natural and the provide a very cool, rustic and autmn-y look to your ceremony and reception.
Please see below for various DIY ways you can use the amber-hued gourd:
Color Blocking pumpkins
Easy how-to: Use a hardware-store paint chip as your palette, and for contrast pick colours a few shades apart. Experiment with texture, too: A matte finish has a contemporary feel, while glossy is more showy.

Pumpkin Accented Ceremony
What a cool and spooky way to highlight the seasonal gourd! This is again using pumpkins in their natural state but I think they look so great and accent the green grass (which Stone Gardens as loads of!) so well! These accents would leave your guests talking about your ceremony for weeks! Plus, this could give them ideas for any Fall or Harvest parties they might be planning!
